What do Indigenous Peoples, Farmers, Fishermen, Women, and Young People say about Direct Funding?
Direct Funding provides a space for communities to work at their own pace and in their own realities, based on trust, enabling collective decision-making, adapting to challenges, and taking responsibility for the process. With this space, they move bolder, more confidently, and more strongly in safeguarding their lands, forests, oceans, and livelihoods. Dana Nusantara founded together with three national organizations, namely: AMAN, KPAand WALHI to support various efforts and initiatives from Indigenous Communities, Farmers, Fishermen, Women, and the Youth in fighting for rights and improving the quality of life through independent, socially just, and sustainable management of natural resources, agrarian resources, and the environment.
