Ypallestari.wordpress.com – Three community groups from Kuku, Uelincu, and Panjoka villages participated in a Social Forestry Group Management training on January 13, 2025, at the Panjoka Village Hall, North Pamona District, Poso Regency. The groups in attendance included the Rindu Alam Forest Management Institute of Panjoka Village, the Sincimaya Forest Farmers Group of Kuku Village, and the Uelincu Maju Group from Uelincu Village.

This training activity was initiated by the Panorama Alam Lestari Foundation (Y.PAL) and the Uelincu Maju Group. The goal is to strengthen the governance of forest management organizations in the three villages so they can manage forest areas fairly, sustainably, and improve community welfare.

Y.PAL Director, Yopy Hary, served as the primary facilitator for the training. He presented material on organizational strengthening and forest management governance. He stated that success depends heavily on the quality of organizational governance. In his presentation, Yopy added that Kuku Village has received a HKm permit, while Panjoka Village is awaiting a decree, and Uelincu Village is still in the proposal stage.

The training concluded with the symbolic presentation of certificates to the village heads of the three villages. This activity is expected to strengthen the capacity of community organizations in sustainable forest management.

"Of the three villages that attended... the hope is that the training will improve the capacity of the administrators in managing the area." — Yopy Hary, Director of the Panorama Alam Lestari Foundation
