
The Laiyuen indigenous community in West Seram, Maluku, is rehabilitating critical land in their customary territory with the support of Dana NusantaraThis rehabilitation is carried out through a community-based reforestation program that replants various local plants such as cloves, nutmeg, and resin. This activity also actively involves youth and local residents in preserving their customary forests. Dana Nusantara is a joint initiative of AMAN, WALHIand KPA which supports independent management of customary areas. This activity also encourages strengthening community capacity and economic development.
