Sentani, MC KMAN VI – Indigenous Peoples welcome the launch Dana Nusantara which was initiated by three large organizations, namely AMAN, Indonesian Environmental Forum (WALHI), and the Agrarian Reform Consortium (KPA).
Launching Dana Nusantara The project, which will begin operations next year, will coincide with the opening of the Sixth Indigenous Peoples' Congress of the Archipelago (KMAN VI) in the Tabi Traditional Territory, Jayapura, Papua, on October 24, 2022.
Secretary General (Sekjen) AMAN Rukka Sombolinggi stated that the aim of the launch Dana Nusantara The initiative of these three organizations is to accelerate village work. Furthermore, we can consolidate environmental movements, Indigenous Peoples movements, and agrarian reform movements across the archipelago.
Rukka said, “Come on, let's pray that our plan will start operating next year!”
He said that the development Dana Nusantara assisted by our friends from the Climate and Land Use Alliance (CLUA). The hope is, Dana Nusantara can be operated to develop the village and consolidate everything.
