A cup of Robusta Tambora Coffee, from BUMMA Sagele Wawo for the Archipelago

So BUMMA Sagele Wawo no longer needs to incur quite high roasting costs and transportation costs."Because we already have our own roasting machine, it has had a positive impact on increasing income for BUMMA. "And of course it also has a positive impact on BUMMA members," said Ade Mbojo, one of the BUMMA Sagele Wawo administrators.

BUMMA Sagele Wawo, a business entity founded by the Sanggar and Donggo Ele Indigenous Community communities, West Nusa Tenggara, is currently still struggling and moving in an effort to maintain food sovereignty in their respective Indigenous Community communities.

Meanwhile, support from regional governments is still considered minimal, both in terms of increasing institutional capacity, empowerment, etc. Through resources in the community, especially indigenous youth and indigenous women, build BUMMA. Creating innovations, from the production side to the promotion of products produced by BUMMA.

For BUMMA Sagele Wawo, building this independent business is not only about economic growth, more than that, BUMMA is also a medium for preserving the culture and economic independence of Indigenous Peoples. "Alhamdulillah, after receiving support from the Nusantara Fund, we gained knowledge in managing customary areas sustainably," said Ade Mbojo.

The presence of Nusantara Fund is a breath of fresh air for BUMMA Sagele Wawo. Ade Mbojo hopes to continue to receive support from Duna Nusantara. "We hope to continue to receive support in the future to support the production and marketing process," he said.

The roasting machine is just one form of Nusantara Fund's contribution to BUMMA Sagele Wawo, which aims to cut production costs.

However, of course not only that, BUMMA Sagele Wawo also encourages increasing the capacity of its members with various kinds of training. Among these are online-based financial management training and marketing training.
