
Jayapura, BUMIPAPUA.COM – Indigenous Peoples welcome the launch Dana Nusantara which was initiated by three large organizations, namely AMAN, Indonesian Environmental Forum (WALHI) and the Agrarian Reform Consortium (KPA).
Launching Dana Nusantara The project, which will begin operations next year, will coincide with the opening ceremony of the Sixth Indigenous Peoples' Congress of the Archipelago (KMAN VI) in the Tabi Traditional Territory, Jayapura, Papua, from October 24-30, 2022.
Secretary General (Sekjen) AMAN Rukka Sombolinggi stated the purpose of the launch Dana Nusantara so that indigenous communities can move work in the village in a faster way.
“Indigenous peoples can consolidate environmental movements, indigenous peoples’ movements, and agrarian reform movements throughout the archipelago,” he explained.
Rukka said, “Come on, let's pray that our plan will start operating next year!”
He said that the development Dana Nusantara assisted by the Climate and Land Use Alliance (CLUA). The hope is, Dana Nusantara can be operated to develop the village and consolidate everything.
