The KASBI Confederation is an organization that accompanies workers and farmers in various regions of Indonesia, including South Sumatra and Lampung. KASBI is committed to fighting for social justice, increasing the capacity of workers in dealing with rights violations, and helping farmers manage resources sustainably.

In South Sumatra, KASBI facilitated members of the Indonesian Plantation Union Federation (FSPBI) in labor advocacy training. This training equipped them with an understanding of labor rights and the skills to prepare and file complaints with the Manpower Office. With these skills, workers can more quickly respond to violations such as low wages and minimal job protection.

Meanwhile, in Lampung, KASBI together with the Joint Farmers Communication Forum (FKPB) revived less productive land by planting kepok bananas. This program is supported by agricultural training that includes selecting superior seeds, marketing strategies, and managing harvests so that farmers can increase their income.

With these steps, workers in South Sumatra increasingly understand how to fight for their rights, while farmers in Lampung have succeeded in turning less productive land into a new source of income. KASBI continues to strive to strengthen the position of workers and farmers in realizing better welfare.
