Annual Report Abstract Dana Nusantara 2025 – The year 2025 will be a crucial moment in the journey Dana Nusantara to reaffirm the significance of direct funding. Funding is not positioned as an instrument of short-term assistance, but rather as a political practice of partisanship: providing space for communities to determine their own work direction, maintain their living spaces, and strengthen livelihoods and knowledge that grow from long-standing experience at the grassroots level.

Photo Source: Documentation AMAN AMAN.or.id – Regional Management AMAN Toraya, together with the Se'seng Indigenous Community, launched the Se'seng Indigenous Territory Strengthening Program through rehabilitation activities and local food cultivation. The program was launched on June 20, 2025, at the Buttu Limbong Congregation Church in the Se'seng customary territory, Bittuang District, Tana Toraja Regency.

The training was organized by the Regional Management.

Direct funding support from the Nusantara Fund is expected to expand, enlarge, and strengthen the efforts and initiatives of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities in Indonesia to move together to overcome challenges and fight for rights while remaining steadfast as #ProtectorsoftheArchipelago.

For the first time, a global financing breakthrough was initiated by three national organizations, namely the Alliance of Indigenous Peoples of the Archipelago (AMAN), Agrarian Reform Consortium (KPA), and the Indonesian Environmental Forum (WALHI). The global funding contributed to Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities is called the Nusantara Fund. This direct funding, which is motivated by the lack of global funding, is believed to be able to help Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities.
